Search us and you'll find both kinds of page: people calling this their favorite hoodie ever, and a few calling us a scam. Here's a straight answer, with all the details you'd want to check for yourself.
The Warmy is a real company. We're based in Canada, we've been trading since 2022, and we've served more than 100,000 customers. We design and sell our own loungewear, led by the Oversized Hoodie Dress, and we've published over 6,000 verified customer reviews averaging 4.7 out of 5.
What we actually make
The Oversized Hoodie Dress is built from a 100% cotton outer with a blanket-soft fleece lining. That pairing is the whole idea: cotton on the outside so it wears like a real garment you'd leave the house in, fleece on the inside so it feels like the blanket you didn't want to climb out from under.
This matters more than it sounds, because there are a lot of lookalikes. Search for a hoodie dress on any marketplace and you'll find cheap polyester versions styled in photos to look like ours. They're thinner, they don't breathe, and they don't last. We'd rather make one thing properly than a hundred things cheaply.

What we got wrong, and what we fixed
Most of our critical reviews trace back to two problems from the same stretch of our growth. Both are resolved, and we'd rather tell you about them than hope you don't notice.
Holiday shipping delays. During peak holiday periods, some orders took longer to arrive than they should have. We've changed how we hold stock and dispatch through those weeks, and that's been sorted.
Slow replies from support. We grew quickly, and for a while our inbox grew faster than our team did. Some customers waited too long for an answer, which isn't good enough. We've since expanded the team, and that's sorted too.
Shipping
US orders ship from our US warehouse via USPS. Orders are processed within 1 to 7 days depending on stock, then arrive within 6 to 11 business days. Shipping is free on every order over $75.
Returns, refunds and the size guarantee
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return on unworn items with tags. Refunds carry a $3 restocking fee and land back on your original payment method within 10 business days of approval.
Exchanges work differently, and this is the part worth knowing: we offer a 90-day size guarantee. If you order the wrong size, you have three full months to swap it, with no restocking fee. Sizing is the thing most people hesitate over when buying online, so we took that risk off you entirely.
Both start in our returns portal. If something arrives damaged or wrong, upload a photo there and we'll make it right.
One thing worth knowing
Fleece shrinks in hot water. Wash cold and hang dry, and your hoodie dress keeps its shape and length, and gets softer with every wash.

Where we came from
The Warmy started with a straightforward question: why should you have to choose between something genuinely warm and something you'd actually wear out of the house? The hoodie dress was our answer, cut longer than a normal hoodie so it covers you properly, with a hood and pockets built at a size that makes sense.
